Burnt Bridges was started in late 2007, dug out of the ashes of a combined effort with two members of The Maelstrom called Austin Extreme Records, which featured The Maelstrom To the Blood of My Enemies EP. Following set backs and a relocation to Nashville, Burnt Bridges was started as a solo project.

My main objective is to aid in the documentation of a vast amount of underground music that otherwise would go unheard and fall into the cracks. These musicians pour their hearts and souls into their music (along with their wallets), so I figured why not jump in and lose my ass with them. It takes every single one of us to make this stuff happen, including you, the kids that go to the shows and buy the records.
